Keyword difficulty score now in Rank Tracker

Would you like to see with one click how hard it could be to rank for a specific keyword ? well now you can with the new keyword difficulty tool feature built into Rank Tracker.

As you know every keyword you optimise for on your website takes time. Time to do the ‘on page’,  create content,  review anchor texts, etc. BUT what if some of your target keywords are a complete waste of time and money? and what if others were much easier to get a page1 result.

To help you maximize your results in SEO, Rank Tracker has a new feature  the keyword difficulty tool that helps you choose only the right keywords. To get you where you want to be quicker and smarter.

How does it benefit me ?

  • Saves time and money by choosing the keywords that are not too hard to rank for.
  • Use the keyword difficulty score in combination with other SEO metrics (search volume, search ranking) to better calculate your success chances.
  • Prioritise keywords based on their difficulty — start working on those ones that will quickly bring you more earnings at a lower cost.
  • Check unlimited number of keywords for their difficulty score — no matter how large your keyword list, it will analyse each key phrase.
  • Spot what helps your competitors rank higher and adjust your SEO strategy.
  • Do niche research for any keyword in a matter of minutes.

How much does it cost ?

Absolutely nothing – ‘zip’ ‘zilch’ ‘nowt’ ‘gratis’ – it is just yet another feature that has been added – along with many other features that are added and updated week by week.

If you are already a Rank Tracker user then this feature is automatically added the next time you fire up the software.

What does it do exactly ?

The new keyword difficulty tool will check the top organic results for every keyword in your project. By looking at multiple metrics, the tool will show how hard or easy every keyword is to rank for.

Here are some of the factors SEO PowerSuite will use to calculate the difficulty score (by analyzing the top 10 results in Google):

  • Page PageRank
  • Domain PageRank
  • The number of page’s backlinks
  • The number of domain’s backlinks
  • On-page optimisation rate
  • Alexa Rank
  • Social signals (Google+, Twitter and Facebook likes for the page)
  • Page age (in months)
